1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files that a website you visit stores in your browser. They are used to keep you signed in or to remember your preferences.
2. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
session | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in and protects your account (HttpOnly, Secure). | For the session / deleted on sign-out |
OAuth state cookies | Strictly necessary | Verifies that an account-connection request came from you (prevents forged connections). | A few minutes |
lang | Preference | Remembers the site language you chose. | 1 year |
kv_setup_hidden | Preference | Remembers that you hid the setup checklist in the dashboard. | 1 year |
kv_dismissed_prompts | Preference | Prevents tips you dismissed from showing again. | 1 year |
kv_consent | Strictly necessary | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. | 6 months |
_ga | Analytics (only with your consent) | Google Analytics: distinguishes visitors to produce anonymous visit statistics. | 2 years |

Strictly necessary cookies are used without seeking explicit consent under KVKK Article 5(2)(c) and (f), for the performance of the contract and the security of the service. Preference cookies only remember a choice you made; they do not track your identity and are not shared with third parties. Analytics cookies are based on your explicit consent under KVKK Article 5(1) and are not set until you consent.
3. Site measurement and Google Analytics
We measure basic visit statistics on our own server without storing any identifier in your browser. If you consent, we also use Google Analytics 4: query parameters (except campaign tags) are removed from the addresses sent to Google, the user panel and admin area are not measured, and Google signals and ad personalization are turned off. If your browser sends a “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track” signal, Google Analytics is not loaded. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
4. Third-party pages
The payment institution's page you are redirected to when paying, and the Meta, TikTok, Google and LinkedIn sign-in screens that open when you connect an account, use their own cookies; these are subject to those companies' cookie policies.
5. Managing cookies
You can withdraw your consent to analytics cookies via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page; when you reject, Google Analytics cookies are deleted. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or connect accounts; blocking preference cookies only means your choices will not be remembered.
